Purging
Galaxy Engineering provides nitrogen purging to displace hazardous gases from vessels and pipelines, for safer commissioning, decommissioning and maintenance work.
Why nitrogen is used
Nitrogen is an inert gas, so it will not support combustion. Pushing it through a vessel or pipeline displaces flammable gases and oxygen, reducing the risk of a fire or explosion when equipment is opened up, brought back into service or taken out of it.
